On the occasion of the Everly Brothers concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Colin & Geoff appeared at a
PRE - EVERLY CONCERT PARTY & BUFFET
held at The Zetland Arms, Bute Street, London , near to the Royal Albert Hall, where Don & Phil Everly were to make a sentimental journey back to the venue of their unforgettable 1983 Reunion Concert.
The party guests were mainly members of the Everly Brothers International Fan Club, having travelled to London from various parts of the world, all in good spirits at the prospect of seeing the legendary pair in the prestigious surroundings of the Royal Albert Hall.
Colin & Geoff were supported by Anthony Lauren, doing his tribute to Roy Orbison, and the Williams Brothers, also singing Everlys songs … luckily they just happened to be London at the right moment, as two of the artists originally booked had had to cancel at the last minute.
For six hours the music flowed non-stop throughout the afternoon : fabulous live performances, interspersed with recorded Everlys songs and rare video footage, folks singing along while making new friends or sharing happy Everly memories … the perfect appetiser to a main course of the real Don & Phil to be enjoyed later that evening !
